Zoom Virtual Conference
BE Extraordinario: "Strengthening Connections in a Multilingual Virtual World"
Esteemed Colleagues in Bilingual Education,
On behalf of the RGV-TABE executive board, I would like to extend an invitation to attend our 26th annual conference virtually on January 22-23, 2020.
Our conference theme, “Be Extraordinario: Strengthening Connections in a Multilingual Virtual World” will celebrate the extraordinary work our Bilingual Education teachers are doing this academic year as they navigate the work of virtual learning with our bilingual learners.
We will be offering high-quality professional development at the 26th Annual RGV-TABE virtual conference for conference attendees through live, interactive breakout sessions, and keynotes via Zoom. Participants will have the opportunity to earn 12 CPE hours on best practices from presenters in districts near and far in Texas, as well as other states!
Keeping in line with tradition, we will continue to offer an award ceremony where students and professionals will be recognized for their excellent work and contributions to the field of Bilingual Education. We are confident that you will not just enjoy this year’s virtual conference but grow professionally by attending. We invite you to join us in January. Registration is now open!
In addition, we encourage you to submit a proposal to present in English or Spanish at the RGV-TABE virtual conference. This year we will be waiving conference registration fees for presenters at our virtual conference. Come network with your colleagues in Bilingual Education, disseminate your research, or highlight any effective strategies/techniques you use with bilingual learners!
Our registration and proposal submission portals are now open. You can access the system by downloading the attached flyer that contains QR codes for each. We look forward to seeing you in January!
